Logos Organization

I love taking notes on Logos Bible Software, it might possibly be my favorite feature. I love the organization I can have of my notes, and the searchability, not to mention how there are icons connected to the text I made the note on. Beyond even that, I can have the note icon be connected to more than one reference. So if I make a note on Mark 2:2, I can "Add Anchor" to another reference like Matthew 1:20-21 or "Selection" which connects the note to any text in my Bible I have selected.

As far as organization goes, here are some ways that I organize my notes.

Icons:

These are some of the ways I've used the icons and different colors for my note icons:

Notebooks:

I used to have a lot of notebooks, but now I recommend keeping as few notebooks as possible. You can only file into one notebook. Almost everything goes into my Default folder (which I actually named "Aa Default" so that it stays at the top). Individual notebooks can be shared with specific people on Logos (to learn how to share a notebook, read this post on collaborating in notebooks). I have a few folders that I share with different friends or groups. Here are the notebooks I have to give you an idea:

Notebook Ideas
Default
Personal [notes I prefer to be private]
Family [notes about / for my family]
Questions [so I can come back and answer]
Sermon Notes
L & Me [Notebook Shared with Friend]
S & Me [Shared with another Friend]

Tags:

I put several tags on most notes. Unlike Notebooks, you can pick more than one tag per note. This is especially helpful since many of my notes talk about more than one topic. For example, a note might be about "God's character," "faithfulness," "patience," and "forgiveness." Then, when I am looking for notes on a particular topic, I can search by one of these tags and see all my notes about this topic. Here are some examples:
